THERESNOTOMORROW: Read This Today

THERESNOTOMORROW is unafraid to show his true colors. Banger after banger, the list is long for tracks that bap within his music catalog. Production choices are without mercy, relentless. The bass pounding heavily on each track morphing inside out, lyrics jump from serious to solemn and then build energetic distortion and original tones.
You can tell THERESNOTOMORROW and those surrounding him take their time to keep quality and originality at the forefront. You have never heard drums like this before, there's deep mechanized sounding percussion, crisp mixes, and balanced vocals. He has tracks with groundbreaking producers like, SKEPSIS, ARTHUR, PRXPHET, the list is actually too long to name names this time...just go listen for yourself. I had a chance to ask him a few questions about his music, check it out:

When did you first start recording your music?

I started recording my music after I dropped out of highschool, so 2nd semester of my senior year.

You changed your name recently, why?

People come and go on the daily, everybody acts like they have a for sure ticket to see the next day, but sometimes it's not like that. You never know when you're gonna be gone , so might as well live like THERESNOTOMORROW. + the name dezi was too simple

How did LSP form?

PRXPHET , & BAN$HEE created the group during freshman/sophomore year.  They added MISSYU & DENNYGLOOM within the next year, they had all been rapping/freestyling for a couple years now, and wanted to start something more real, more intense.
After that came AGHOST ,REY TOTEM and KENSHŌ. than around senior year came MOCHIE, BOLT & me. We also had a group of skaters (ATRAYU, JALEN, AND JIDDY+MORE) .

What outfits do you enjoy most?

Anything made by JHENNYCLOTHING
Lil' bro killing shit, and he just getting started.  WATCH FOR THAT JHENNY!

Where is LSP now?

Most of us are just spread out through Portland,OR and Vancouver,WA, 1 member in NY.

Can you talk about the song "Wrist Walk?" and what recording that was like?

It was easier than I thought, me and Dennygloom were making a lot of music together at the time, and I had just started producing. Me and Ban$hee made the beat a couple days prior, and we had been invited to an air bnb by the homies DEADPHONEDUMMIEZ, so we went and Bubba was there too. Me and Bubba always talked about making music but never had, so I showed him the beat and he was fuckin wit' it, I went and freestyled the chorus and Dennygloom wrote his verse, while I recorded Bubba.

Does your family support your music?

When I showed my mom my music, at first she cried. My parents aren't into the scene at all, but they support and respect it a lot.

Do you ever have to deal with people talking shit?

Maaan, I wanna meet someone who doesn't have to deal with that . Muthafuckas jus' get mad when they see someone with goals and inspiration, they can talk all they want though I just ignore.

How many tattoos do you have, what do you like about the process most?

I got 5 right now but my progress is coming along quick. Guess the best part of the process is finding where you want it trying out different spots to see what it look like.

How or what does music make you feel?

My music is the real side of me that people barely see, so it really just makes me feel like I'm being myself.

Do you prefer producing or rapping?

Rapping a lot more fun

Do you have favorite rappers/producers you work with or do you prefer working solo?

Shit, LSP always gon' be my favorite over all.
I don't prefer working solo, but I will if and when I have too.

What's next for THERESNOTOMORROW?

Working on 2 new albums, a couple music videos in the works, and plan to do some traveling to LA and NY. My music is going to drastically change from what I've been doing the passed 2 years, so be ready.

Any message to your listeners?

I love y'all the most. Imma try to interact more with everybody on social media so be on the lookout! New album soon!

All These Pieces Fit Together: Talkin' Shop with Jhenny

Jhenny makes more than hand crafted clothing, designs, and custom fits...he has brought people together in music. If you haven't heard of JhennyClothing, you've missed a big chapter in the current music story in the West, some of the best underground and well known rappers and performers rock JhennyClothing including: THERESNOTOMORROW, CATXSCAN, NASCAR ALOE, PRXPHET, KENSHO, and so many more.
I wanted to interview him because he has something unique for everyone, and all the pieces stay tastefully off the beaten path. He shared some really cool ideas with me:

The broken heart seen on many of your pieces, any story or person responsible for that?

I’ve been through a lot of heartbreak in my life so I felt like it was a very representative piece to help me express that feeling.
S/O to @epilept for the art.

When did you decide you wanted to make the idea of JhennyClothing into fruition?

I was 15 and I knew I wanted to make my own clothes, so I sold all of my old GameCube games to buy my first heat press and sewing machine.

Who was the first person who encouraged you to follow through with the idea?

Honestly, Myself.  I knew I had a lot of good ideas I wanted to put out into the world, and it felt like something I wouldn’t mind putting a lot of time and money into because I knew I would be good one day.

Care to share any cool merch stories from your beginning until now?

In 2017, I hosted a concert in San Diego and flew down a lot of my favorite SoundCloud rappers at the time, who to this day are still some of my best friends, and it’s honestly just given me a lot of opportunities to meet cool people and travel different places I never would have been to otherwise.

If you could collaborate with an artist or other clothing brand, do you have any already in mind?

Definitely, I would love to work with: Rozz Dyliams, Zillakami, Nascar Aloe and Stacy House. I have some stuff in the works right now with @deadanddetached , @femzart , and @bratb0y.

What is the most important part about JhennyClothing to you?

To always keep progressing forward and staying true to myself.

How has the response been from the public?

A lot of younger people, especially those in the fashion/music scene really like it. Most older people don’t really like it or “get it,” but they still appreciate my craftsmanship, and the quality of the clothes as well as the time I put in to make them.

How do your parents feel about your clothes?

My mom doesn’t really fuck w' my clothes. My dad doesn’t really understand it, but he’s still supportive and happy I’m doing what I love.

What’s your favorite part of the process?

Achieving a sense of pride. When I see the finalized product and I realize that all of my effort I put into creating it was well worth it.

What can we look forward to in the future from JhennyClothing?

I’m working on releasing full collections for the very near future. I’m also working on doing some pop-up shops in different cities and having my clothes sold more in store. Just really gotta put a lot of ground work in ya know?

Any message for your shoppers?

Whenever you wear my clothes, I want you to feel like you can get through whatever you’re going through, accomplish what you want, and it’s okay to be yourself.

-Jhenny.
